Itinerary
Day 1 : Ha Giang to Dong Van
Ha Giang → Heaven Gate → Quan Ba Twin Mountains → Yen Minh → Vuong Palace → Dong Van
- Depart around 8:00 AM from Ha Giang.
- Ride through Heaven Gate at 1,500m of altitude, with panoramic views above the clouds.
- Admire the Twin Mountains of Quan Ba, then continue toward Yen Minh.
- Stop for lunch in a local restaurant.
- In the afternoon, visit the Vuong Palace, once home to the H’mong king.
- Arrive in Dong Van around 5:00 PM, check in to your hotel and enjoy dinner.
- Later, feel free to visit the charming old quarter of Dong Van in an evening stroll.

Quan Ba's Twin Mountain
Day 2 : Dong Van to Bao Lac
Dong Van → Ma Pi Leng Pass → Meo Vac → Bao Lac
- Enjoy your breakfast, then head through the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark.
- Cross the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, known as the "king" of Vietnam’s mountain roads.
- Follow the scenic Happiness Road, carved by hand into the cliffs.
- Pause in Meo Vac for stunning landscapes and photo opportunities.
- Continue the ride through Ly Bon to Bao Lac.
- Arrive around 5:00 PM for an overnight stay.

Dong Van Karst Plateau
Day 3 : Bao Lac to Ban Gioc
Bao Lac → Me Pia Pass → Trung Khanh → Ban Gioc
- Early morning departure following the Song Gam River.
- Climb the Me Pia Pass, famous for its 14 sharp hairpin bends—the "14-story slope."
- Admire the landscapes as you head east toward Ban Gioc.
- Arrive at your accommodation near Ban Gioc around 5:00 PM.

Day 4 : Ban Gioc to Ba Be
Ban Gioc → Ba Be
- Begin the day exploring Ban Gioc Waterfall—Vietnam’s most iconic cascade and the largest in Southeast Asia. Take in the powerful flow, tiered rock formations, and serene riverside paths.
- In the late morning, start the journey back toward Cao Bang, then continue on to Ba Be National Park. Expect to arrive by late afternoon, just in time to settle in and enjoy the peaceful lakeside setting.

Ban Gioc Waterfall
Day 5 : Ba Be Trekking Day
- Start the day at 8:00 AM with a guided trek through Ba Be National Park.
- Walk through jungle trails and rice fields to visit Tay and H’mong minority villages.
- Discover daily life in remote communities: weaving, farming, cooking.
- Around 11:30 AM, enjoy a picnic lunch in a forest clearing or at a small village.
- At 12:30 PM, continue hiking to Puong Cave and Dau Dang Waterfall. Your guide will share stories about the region’s culture and wildlife along the way.
- Return to your homestay around 3:00 PM and relax before dinner.

Day 6 : Ba Be - Boat tour - Hanoi
- After breakfast at 8:00 AM, head to Pac Ngoi boat station.
- At 9:00 AM, begin a boat trip across Ba Be Lake, Vietnam’s largest natural freshwater lake.
- Visit An Ma Temple, Dau Dang Waterfall, and pass through local fishing villages.
- At 12:30 PM, have lunch at a local riverside restaurant or homestay.
- Around 1:30 PM, drive back to Ha Giang or transfer to the bus station for your return trip.
