Itinerary

Day 1:

Ha Giang - Bac Sum Pass: 

Bac Sum Pass - one of the four most beautiful and challenging passes in Ha Giang. While conquering this pass, you will be able to see the green of the karst mountains and the blue of the crystal sky.   

Bac Sum Pass -  Heaven Gate:  

Quan Ba Heaven Gate offers a view at 1,500 meters above sea level, giving tourists a panoramic view of the town of Quan Ba, the Twin Mountain and other spectacular sights.  

Heaven Gate - Twin Mountain:  

The Twin Mountain (or Co Tien Mountain) shows off its uniqueness and charm in all 4 seasons. Taking the shape of a fairy's breast, this mountain changes its appearance season by season like a fairy putting on different clothes. 

Twin Mountain - Lung Tam Village: 

In the village of Lung Tam, you can immerse yourself in the vivid and vibrant atmosphere of this place. By observing the hemp-weaving process, you could learn more about the culture and customs of the H’Mong people who inhabit this village. 

Quan Ba - Yen Minh:  

While taking some breaks during the ride, you will be able to admire the sights of the rice paddies and the other magnificent sights along the tour. 

Yen Minh - Tham Ma Pass: 

The renowned Tham Ma Pass - the most challenging pass in Ha Giang will give you thrills and some hair-standing moments with a steep cliff on one side and a deep abyss on the other. After conquering the pass, you will be able to see the corn fields of the locals with utter satisfaction. 

Tham Ma Pass - Lao Xa Village:

Lao Xa is a small village located on a completely rocky terrain, and is inhabited by the H’mong people. This village is still able to preserve the pristine natural views and primitive cultural identity of the locals.  During the spring,  the whole village is draped in the white of the plum flowers and the pink of the peach blossom.

Lao Xa Village- Vuong Palace:

At the Vuong Palace, you can enrich your knowledge by learning about the history of the Vuong Family - one of the most powerful families in Dong Van in the 20th century. You can also admire the unique structure of the house, which combines the most appealing features of H’Mong, Chinese and French architecture styles in one place.

Vuong Palace - Sa Phin: 

On the first night, you will stay in the village of Sa Phin - the rough and rugged gem of the Karst Plateau. The town is noticeable by the sights of the limestones scattered around on the green vibrant meadow, creating a unique scenery.

Day 2:

Sa Phin -  Dong Van: 

After visiting the Moon Rock Field, you will start your journey to Dong Van. You will enjoy a leisurely morning in Dong Van, surrounded by the vibrant traditional colors of the local’s clothes. If this day happens to be a Sunday, you will be able to visit the colorful and radiant local market.

Dong Van  - Ma Pi Leng Pass:

Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the four greatest passes in Vietnam, will give a life-long impression on people who set eyes on it. Hanging at an altitude of 1,200-1,400 meters, the pass will offer you a rush of excitement while riding along the rugged cliffs and glazing down to Nho Que River below. Aside from the striking natural scenes, Ma Pi Leng Pass also has an historical background as it was a crucial link to the Ho Chi Minh Path, which was used to transport the supplies for the army. 

Exiting Ma Pi Leng, you will spend around 1,5 hour walking from the Young Volunteers Monument, in Ma Pi Leng Pass, to Panorama, crossing the Death Cliff and the White Cliff. During the route, you will be able to admire the views and the lifestyle of the locals up close. 

Ma Pi Leng Pass - Meo Vac - M-shaped Curve- Mau Due: 

When reaching Panorama, you will get back on the bike and ride to Mau Due. On the road, you will have time to enjoy the view of the spectacular karst mountains and the fascinating M-shaped Curve. Then, you will arrive at Mau Due and have lunch there. 

Mau Due -  Du Gia: 

After having lunch in Mau Due, you will start your journey to Du Gia. Along the ride, you can see the rice fields of the Tay, hiding inside layers of mountain mist. This place offers a tranquil atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle, making it the perfect place to embrace of Mother Nature. At around 4:00pm, you will settle down for the night ; don't forget to bring your swimsuit for the next day as you will visit a beautiful waterfall.

Day 3:

Du Gia - Duong Thuong:

On this day, you will begin your trip to go back to Ha Giang. After riding back 10 km, you will enter the Duong Thuong Valley, where you can stop to enjoy some fresh air. 

Duong Thuong - Thai An:

For this route, you will ride through a lush forest and enjoy the view. 

Thai An - Thuan Hoa: 

Although this route is short, you can still admire the magnificent beauty of the vast mountains. Shifting the eyes to the side of the abyss, you will be captivated by the sights of the mountains bathing in the sunlight and the mist. 

Thuan Hoa -  Ha Giang: 

You will go back to Ha Giang for lunch. For people who book an early ticket, the driver will take you back around 3:30pm to prepare your stuff. For those who don’t, the trip will continue to Thon Tha Village and Ha Thanh Village to discover the daily activities of the locals on their rice fields. You will end the trip on a high note by going to the Sixth Waterfall and then going back to the hotel around 5:00pm. You can then enjoy a well-deserved shower and relax in our resting room while waiting for the bus. If you want to spend an extra night at the hotel, you can make a reservation directly at the reception.
